The missionaries Andrea and Christian Thiele have set themselves the goal to build a series of children's homes in northern Thailand since beginning of 2007. In the area of Chiang Mai they look after orphan kids as well as children whose parents can not afford expensive education. Now the couple visits their home of Paderborn for a short time and will give a lecture on 27th April 2010 to talk about their experience and the motivation to build a new life in Thailand. On the web site thaimission.de their actions are documented in close cooperation with To All Nations e.V., on whose behalf both move to Thailand.

In addition to the Friends of Thailand Paderborn the "Wirtschaft unterstützt Kinderdörfer" will invite to the lecture. This organization was founded in 2009 with the aim of finding sponsors from the Paderborn-based economy that will support the commitment of the Thieles. Under the auspices of Landrat Manfred Müller this non-profit association hopes to find many more supporters for the realization of future projects and the support of poor children in Thailand.

The event on 27 April starting 7 pm will be held in the premises of the company Unger, Welsow & Company GmbH (Stadtlanfert 7, 33106 Paderborn, Germany). Additionally to the presentation both Paderborn clubs about Thailand briefly will take the opportunity to introduce themselves. For the "Wirtschaft unterstützt Kinderdörfer" this will be chairman Mr. Jürgen Urban - owner of the ADU Service group. The Friends of Thailand Paderborn, who like to act regionally organizing thai events and offer help and support, are delighted about the fact that both clubs fit very well together and hope to be able to support the project of the Thiele couple as well in the future.
