The Friends of Thailand appeared publically today for the very first time being a part of the presentaion of Mrs Rawiwan Kaldrack. The club is delighted Mrs Kaldrack gave an insight into her long term experience about learning the thai language. Due to the limited time available the presentation could certainly give only a short overview of the characteristics of thai language. Again we explicitly like to express our thanks to Mrs Kaldrack for the comprehensive preparation and the successful presentation. We hope there will be a future opportunity for an additional event in order to cover many of todays issues in depth

Those with deeper interest in thai language can still enroll for the beginner's VHS Class starting on february 18th here in Paderborn. According to the web site of VHS Paderborn the course has sufficient students enrolled to take place - still with vacancies available (standing February 6th).

With more than 40 visitors today's event exceeded our expectations. We feel confirmed in our belief there is sufficient interest about Thailand in Paderborn area for organizing more events which will be joined by many interested visitors as well - regardsless if we plan presentations about buddhism, thai language, thai medicine, or travelling or organize events about thai cooking or integration of thai people living here in Paderborn.

We would like to encourage all people interested to enroll to this web site for free or becoming member of the club. For as much as 3€ (reduced membership fee 1€) per month members gain free or reduced access to future events and to the members area of this web site. Additionally each membership allows us to persue our aims.
